PJ Dozier’s professional career took another step Wednesday.
The former South Carolina great has been named to the All-NBA G League third team for his work this season for the Maine Red Claws. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound guard averaged 21.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.7 assists over 46 games for Maine, the Boston Celtics’ G League affiliate.
Dozier, a Columbia native and co-star on USC’s 2017 Final Four team, was called up to the Celtics for the rest of the season late last month.
“He’s super reliable, can guard a bunch of different positions and makes plays off the pick-and-roll,” Celtics coach Brad Stevens told BostonCeltics.
