“(It) had said the only way The Citadel could win was if Jack Douglas was Jamelle Holieway, and The Citadel’s wishbone was Oklahoma’s,” Sands recalled. “I remember Jack coming in, taking the paper, throwing it down. But it got everybody hyped up and ready to go. That’s one thing we know about The Citadel — they’re going to come in, and they’re going to play all 60 minutes.
