The true freshman has started three games this season, all at center, a position he had never played before arriving in Columbia. He started two games when regular center Alan Knott went down with an ankle injury, another when Knott was suspended for a half due to academic issue, and also continues to work in practice at guard — the spot where he excelled with the Green Wave, and was recruited to play at USC.
