South Carolina’s football team opens spring practice Feb. 28. There are plenty of players who have something to prove. Here are five worth keeping an eye on:
K.C. Crosby – The 6-foot-1, 242-pound senior looked to be making some progress when he suffered a broken leg midway through the season. He finished the year with two catches for 11 yards, down from 23 catches for 217 yards as a sophomore. The one-time, four-star prospect has one more chance for a breakout season, and it will be interesting to see how new offensive coordinator Bryan McClendon tries to take advantage of Crosby’s athleticism.
