Tim Tebow is drawing massive crowds to any ballpark in which the Columbia Fireflies play. As pointed out in a recent story by the Post and Courier, some fans want to see him succeed and some want him to fail.
The Fireflies (lower Class A affiliate for the New York Mets) currently lead Minor League Baseball’s South Atlantic League in attendance, with an average of 5,787 fans per game. That is 2,000 more than the club averaged in its first year of existence in 2016.
