COLUMBIA — Will Muschamp’s first spring practice as South Carolina’s head football coach will open March 15, with the Gamecocks’ spring game set for April 9 at Williams-Brice Stadium.
USC’s spring practice schedule was tweeted Tuesday by Kurt Roper, the Gamecocks’ new quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator. South Carolina’s 15 spring sessions will include 12 practice days, as well as scrimmages on March 26 and April 2.
Yet to be announced are times, and whether any of the practices or scrimmages will be open to the public. USC will work on its new offensive and defensive schemes, as well as integrate six early enrollees including freshman Brandon McIlwain, expected to contend for the starting quarterback position in the fall.
