After digging themselves a hole by losing the opening game to Rhode Island, the South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team bounced back in a big way Sunday with two blowout wins over Rhode Island and UNCW. In Sunday's win over the Seahawks, the Gamecocks forced a game 7 in the Columbia Regional. That game was set to be played yesterday, but with Mother Nature having other plans, the game was pushed back to this afternoon. The scenario still stands, however: with a win the Gamecocks will be hosting a Super Regional next weekend against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
