Clemson ranked 17th, South Carolina 18th in Baseball America poll

Coming off series sweeps in their first conference action of the season, Clemson and South Carolina entered Baseball America’s Top 25 rankings on Monday.

Clemson is ranked 17th after winning three games against ACC foe Boston College over the weekend, and South Carolina is 18th after sweeping Arkansas in a three-game SEC series in Columbia.

The College of Charleston, which was ranked No. 23 last week, fell out of the Baseball America poll after losing two of three games against Virginia Commonwealth over the weekend at Patriots Point.

Clemson (16-3) plays Presbyterian on Tuesday. USC (20-2) begins a three-game series at Mississippi State on Thursday.
