South Carolina ended a two-game SEC losing streak and gave itself a chance for its first series win in conference play this year by beating No. 7 Texas A&M 3-2 in Founders Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Gamecocks (23-15, 5-11 SEC) will take on the Aggies (27-12, 9-6-1) at 4 p.m. in the final game of the series. The game will be televised by SEC Network. Both Saturday games will be seven-inning games.
Luke Berryhill’s three-run home run in the bottom of the first powered South Carolina to a 3-0 lead.
