An NFL Hall of Famer was walking the halls of South Carolina football’s indoor facility.
But no, it wasn’t to talk to a coach he knew or give an impassioned message to the team or even to bring in a son being recruited.
The NFL’s all-time leading scorer, Morten Anderson, just happened to be in town.
“My son is a senior in high school and he’s looking at the school of sports management,” Anderson said. “So we were actually on a college tour to go through the business school and talk to professors. Just meet various people at South Carolina.
