After a rough weekend against Kentucky, the Gamecocks rebounded with a midweek victory over Wofford.
South Carolina got on the board first, taking a 4-0 lead in the first inning. The first run came when Jacob Olson doubled to lead off and LT Tolbert brought him home with an RBI single. A Riley Hogan RBI double made it 2-0, another run came courtesy of Alex Destino, and then he got caught in a rundown, but Hogan touched home to bring in the final run of the inning.
The Terriers ended the shutout in the next inning with a solo homer, and they scored another run in the third.
