South Carolina fans will not have to pay as much to attend the Belk College Kickoff Game against North Carolina State on September 2 in Charlotte. The price for game tickets are down from 2015 when the Gamecocks took on North Carolina.
Two years ago, tickets ranged from $70 to $258 and were called “Super Bowl prices” by then-South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier.
Tickets for the 2017 game range from $65 to $245, prices that South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner said will allow for fans from both school’s to attend.
Will Webb, executive director of the Charlotte Sports Foundation, told The State he does not believe price was an issue in 2015.
