2016 NFL Draft: South Carolina RB Brandon Wilds signs UDFA deal with Atlanta Falcons

Brandon Wilds, the South Carolina Gamecocks' leading rusher from 2015, is headed to the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.

Wilds, a product of Blythewood High School just outside of Columbia, departs Columbia with 1,844 yards on 379 carries and 13 touchdowns. Last year, he ran for 567 yards and three touchdowns on 123 carries, but was held back due to a rib injury. His career best year came in 2014, when he recorded 570 yards and four touchdowns on just 106 attempts, a average of 5.4 yards per carry. He also was used in the passing game as he made 59 catches for 540 yards during his career at South Carolina.
