THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team went 2-1 on the first day of the Thomasville Collegiate Invitational Friday at the Glen Arven Tennis Center.
The Jaguars took on West Florida on the first day of action, which included two singles matches and one doubles match.
DOUBLES
- Juniors Nikola Kohoutova and Cami Moreno got past Irene Recuenco and Samantha Echevarria 6-2, 7-6 (7-3)
SINGLES
- Junior Milka Pasanen defeated Gabby Araujo in straight sets 6-4, 6-1
- Senior Diana Monsalve fell 7-6, 7-5 to Karinolina Silwanowicz
