NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of South Alabama women's basketball team used an explosive second half to run away with a non-conference road victory over Tennessee State at the Gentry Center in Nashville, Tenn. With the win, South improves to 6-0 for just the second time in program history.
Junior guard Shaforia Kines led the way for South, and led both teams with 19 points in the matchup. Kines shot 3-of-5 from behind the arc, and 7-of-12 from the field. Kines was joined in double figures by three of her teammates. Antoinette Lewis put up 13, India Hall scored 12, and Damaya Telemaque put up ten.
