The Washington Redskins added another player with Alabama football roots to their roster on Wednesday when they signed former South Alabama safety Jeremy Reaves for their practice squad.
Washington waived former Alabama A&M standout Anthony Lanier off its injured reserve with an injury settlement on Saturday, but the Redskins returned to 10 players from Alabama high schools and colleges on their roster by signing Reaves.
The 2017 Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the Jaguars, Reaves went undrafted and signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles.
