BOONE, N.C. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team picked up its seventh consecutive conference win after defeating Appalachian State Sunday afternoon at the Appalachian Tennis Complex in Boone, N.C.
After falling in the doubles, the Jaguars came back in singles play with a vengeance. Nikola Kohoutova's singles victory over Ksenia Jansen on court two put the Jaguars on the board. Milka Pasanen and Otoha Aoki downed the Mountaineers on courts three and four to give South a 3-1 lead. Aina Domingo-Bernabeu clinched the victory for the Jags after defeating Sandra Anglesjo on court five for a 4-1 win.
