CONWAY, S.C. – Michael Flowers tied his season high with 29 points but it was not enough as the University of South Alabama men's basketball team fell to Coastal Carolina, 83-69, Saturday afternoon in the HTC Center.
Sam Iorio and Tyreke Locure joined Flowers in double figures, but no other Jag scored over eight points. Jamal West pulled down six rebounds in his appearance coming off the bench for South.
Garrick Green led the Chants with 28 including 6-of-11 from three-point range. Coastal connected on 16 threes as a team. Tyrik Dixon, DeVante Jones and Essam Mostafa joined Green in double figures.
