UL MONROE DOWNS MEN’S BASKETBALL

MONROE, La. -- Louisiana-Monroe had all five starters reach double-digit points and used a 16-2 run late in the first half to pull away from the University of South Alabama men's basketball team and win 100-68 Saturday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

The Warhawks stay undefeated at home and go to 8-11 overall and 4-4 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Jaguars fall to 7-12 and 2-6.

"You really have to give ULM a lot of credit," USA head coach Matthew Graves said. "Coach (Keith) Richard did an outstanding job with their ball movement -- it was really impressive the way they moved the ball and made the extra pass -- and they were able to get inside our defense and score at will.
