TROY, Ala. – Troy swept a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader from the University of South Alabama baseball team Friday at Riddle-Pace Field.
Troy right-hander Andrew Crane tossed 8 2/3 scoreless innings to combine to shut out the Jaguars 3-0 in game one. Troy scored eight unanswered runs in game two en route to an 11-1 series-clinching win in game two.
South Alabama (29-22, 17-11 SBC) will return to action Saturday when it faces Troy in the series finale at 6 p.m. at Riddle-Pace Field to close the regular season.
