JONESBORO, Ark. – Arkansas State netted three goals in the first half to take the win in the conference opener over the University of South Alabama women's soccer team on Friday in Jonesboro, Ark.
South Alabama (4-3-0, 0-1-0 SBC) opened up scoring in the first half before Arkansas State (4-3-1, 1-0-0 SBC) answered with three goals of it's own before halftime. The Jaguars led in shots (16-5) while also taking seven corners and not allowing any from the Red Wolves during the match.
