With most NFL teams resting their players on the final night of the preseason, players battling for the final spots on rosters across the league stepped into the spotlight in 15 games on Thursday night.
The Oakland Raiders had three rookies from Alabama in their starting lineup for a 17-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks - cornerback Chris Humes from Spain Park High School, right offensive tackle Jylan Ware from Valley High School and middle linebacker Xavier Woodson-Luster from Eufaula High School.
Humes and Woodson-Luster are seeking spots on the Raiders after going undrafted out of Arkansas State.
