Former UAB star Joe Webb has kept his roster spot as a third-string quarterback for the Carolina Panthers by becoming a jack-of-all-trades. He's the only QB in the NFL who plays on special teams, where he both covers and returns kicks. He can play wide receiver, and, in a real pinch, could step in at running back.
Webb (Wenonah) doesn't get a lot of opportunities to play quarterback, though. But during the preseason, he shows he can do that, too.
During the Panthers' 34-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, Webb completed 5-of-6 passes for 67 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.
