Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston won't play in the first three games of the regular season because the NFL suspended the former Hueytown High School standout for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
Since the Buccaneers selected Winston with the first choice in the 2015 NFL Draft, he'd been Tampa Bay's starting quarterback. But that changed in Tampa Bay's two preseason games this month.
The Bucs have opened both their preseason contests with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, since that's where he'll be in the first three games of the regular season with Winston out of action.
