With three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver T.Y. Hilton dealing with a groin injury, former Lee-Huntsville standout Chester Rogers stepped into the pass-catching spotlight for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hilton caught five passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns last week, but he was held to two receptions for 23 yards on Sunday.
A hamstring injury kept Rogers out of Indianapolis' first five games, and he entered Sunday's contest with five receptions for 47 yards in 2017. Against the Steelers, he caught six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown, but Pittsburgh scored the final 17 points of the game to rally for a 20-17 victory.
