MANNIVA, Estonia – The University of South Alabama men's golf program had a pair of individuals make the cut at the European Amateur Championship, with rising junior Peter Staalbo finishing tied for 15th after Saturday's final round while incoming freshman Rasmus Karlsson was among the top 60 in the overall standings.
Staalbo carded scores of par or better all four days at the par-72, 6,454-yard Estonian Golf & Country Club Sea Course, highlighted by a 4-under-par 68 over the opening 18 holes. With an 8-under-par 280 total, the native of Lejre, Denmark finished one stroke out of the top 10.
