MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama rallied in the third quarter, but couldn't hold off the Georgia Southern offense, dropping the home contest 75-59.
The Jags had three players in double figures and were paced by Kiana Anderson and Maggie Robinson, who totaled 12 each. Nadia Howard had 10 points in the loss.
Anderson led South in rebounding as well, recording eight boards, while Robinson brought down seven.
The Eagles were led by Terren Ward with 29 points, with Taya Gibson adding 14 points with nine rebounds.
