SOUTH’S MINTER CHOSEN SUN BELT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama junior running back Tra Minter has been voted the Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Jaguars' win over Alabama State, with the announcement coming from the league office Monday.

It's the second time this season the Ellaville, Ga., resident has been recognized after he was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll following the South's defeat of Texas State last month.
