MOBILE, Ala. – Devyn Lowe scored a game-high 22 points while the University of South Alabama women's basketball team opened the fourth quarter on a 14-2 run on the way to picking up a 71-65 Sun Belt Conference victory over Georgia Southern Friday at the Mitchell Center.
Lowe had the first five points of the final period for the Jaguars (4-3, 1-0 Sun Belt), making a three-pointer 13 seconds in before giving South the lead for good with a jumper in the paint 30 seconds later. Mahogany Vaught supplied 13 points, six rebounds and five assists while Jayla Morrow added 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
