SOUTH MEN’S TENNIS SWEEPS LOUISIANA TO ADVANCE TO SBC SEMIFINALS

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. –The University of South Alabama men's tennis team whipped up a swift 4-0 win over Louisiana at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. A decisive doubles point was followed by a string of three straight-set singles victories, with Clément Marzol serving up the clincher.

Julien Evrard and Sébastien Collard led the Jaguars in doubles play as they defeated Oriol Fillat Gimenez and Xandy Hammitt on court two. At the top spot, Loïc Cloes and Marzol dug out the doubles point for USA after beating Kacper Dworak and Ivailo Keremedchiev for a one-point advantage.

South claimed the first sets on all but two courts, with Evrard muscling his way throw a 6-2, 6-4 win over Keremedchiev on court one to sneak the Jags ahead 2-0.
