NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Rasmus Karlsson matched the best score of his career while Yannick Schütz carded seven birdies to lead the University of South Alabama men's golf team in the final round of Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Classic on Monday.
Karlsson posted a 5-under-par 66, Schütz finished with a 2-under-par 69, and both Jordan Plunkett and Kyle Robinson were even par over the last 18 holes to help the Jaguars close out play with a 7-under-par 277 total, the team's best round of the fall campaign. South ended the event with a 3-over-par 855 group score to place 12th in the final team standings, while Plunkett was tied for 26th individually with a 2-under-par 211 54-hole total.
