MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama got a 5-2 win over the Georgia State Panthers Monday afternoon, closing their home slate with a 9-0 record.
The sophomore duo of Juan Accossatto and Maxime St-Hilaire got the first doubles win of the day, beating Edward Thymes and Harrison Kim 6-1.
The No. 58 ranked duo of Jack Clements and Louis Delcour clinched the doubles point for South Alabama, getting a 6-3 win at number one doubles over Gabriele Datei and Roberts Grinvalds.
In singles, South Alabama won just two first sets, but battled back and forced third sets on those four courts.
