MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama got back in the win column Friday afternoon with a 6-1 win over New Orleans at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
South jumped to early lead with a doubles win at number one, with the duo of Maxime St-Hilaire and Jack Clements beating Max Heinzel and Luke Joujan 6-1. The Jags claimed the doubles point with a win at number three, with Martin Bugaj and Juan Accossatto winning 6-2 over New Orleans's Lilian Dubois and Espen Lagarde.
With South up 1-0, the Jags won on five of six singles courts to claim the eventual 6-1 win over New Orleans.
