MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama softball team had it's five-game win streak snapped Thursday evening as the Jags fell 4-2 to Tulsa at Jaguar Field on day one of the South Alabama Invitational presented by Marriott Mobile.
South Alabama (6-5) tried to mount a seventh-inning rally, scoring a run, but with two out and a runner on, the Jags were called for obstruction on the base paths on what would have been a single to right by Odalys Cordova, ending the game.
Mackenzie Brasher, Meredith Keel and Gabby Stagner each had two hits apiece for the Jags, while Keel also reached on a walk.
