Jeremy Reaves is used to being underestimated, and he's found the NFL draft process to be no different.
Despite being named Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year last season and playing in the Reese's Senior Bowl in January, the former South Alabama safety was not invited to February's NFL combine. After spending the last few months training in the Dallas area, Reaves hoped to use Friday's South Alabama Pro Day to show NFL teams what they missed out on by not bringing him to Indianapolis.
"It was frustrating," Reaves said. "I felt like I put the work in to get there (the combine), but I came up short.
