The next time South Alabama steps on the practice field, it will officially be game week.
The Jaguars wrapped up the preseason portion of practice on Saturday with a "situational scrimmage" at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The team spent the day going over logistics, but for on-field and off-field scenarios that might arise in next Saturday's season-opener against Louisiana Tech.
"There are so many things and you can't hit them all," head coach Steve Campbell said. "Where do you go in the locker room? Where do you line up for stretching? What happens after a safety? There's onside kicks, onside kick prevention, squib kicks.
