MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama head women's basketball coach Terry Fowler announced Thursday that Destiny Haymer has signed a grant-in-aid and will join the program in the fall.
Haymer is transferring from Cincinnati and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
"Destiny comes from Cincinnati, where she was playing at a high level prior to suffering a season-ending injury. Prior to Cincinnati, she started for a championship program at Jones Junior College," Fowler said. "She has a high basketball IQ and is competitive, and she gives us some versatility because she can play at all three guard spots.
