South Alabama has no need to sweat it out until Monday's NCAA baseball tournament selection show.
The Jaguars walked off with a 7-6 victory in 10 innings over Georgia Southern in the Sun Belt tournament championship game, claiming the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA regionals. Brendan Donovan's RBI single scored Dylan Hardy with the winning run in the 10th, after South Alabama scored two runs in the ninth to tie it.
USA led most of the day and 4-3 heading into the ninth, but Georgia Southern's Ryan Cleveland hit a towering three-run homer to put the Eagles (38-21) up 6-4.
