South Alabama drew a season-high 17 walks to spark a 10-7 victory on Saturday at Little Rock, evening their weekend Sun Belt Conference baseball series at a game each.
The Jaguars (26-18, 14-8 Sun Belt) took the lead for good with a three-run third inning that put them on top 4-1. Michael Sandle and Hunter Stokes singled home runs, while Travis Swaggerty drove in another with a bases-loaded walk.
Swaggerty was one of four USA players who drew three walks in the game, along with Stokes, Brendan Donovan and Carter Perkins. Wells Davis and Deyvid Silva walked twice each.
