The NCAA released its annual and multi-year Academic Progress Rate figures on Wednesday, which brought with it good news for South Alabama.
The Jaguars led the Sun Belt Conference in multi-year APR (985), with a number of programs posting perfect scores of 1,000. Ten of the school's 15 athletic teams posted scores of 980 or better in 2016-17, and all but one topped 960.
Men's cross country, men's golf and women's cross country were tops in the Sun Belt in multi-year APR, while baseball (988) and men's basketball (985) were second and men's tennis third (993).
