It's been a week since South Alabama's Board of Trustees voted to approve a resolution that cleared the way for the funding and construction of an on-campus football stadium, and excitement around the program appears to be growing.
USA athletics director Joel Erdmann, football coach Steve Campbell and basketball coach Richie Riley hit the road this week for a series of "Jaguar Jamboree" events, with stops in Mobile, Fairhope, Pensacola, Fla., and Gulfport, Miss. Wednesday night's event at Serda Brewery in downtown Mobile drew a huge crowd of supporters to hear the latest about South Alabama athletics.
