South Alabama had three All-Sun Belt Conference first-team selections in voting by league coaches, it was announced Wednesday.
Tight end Gerald Everett, defensive end Randy Allen and defensive back Jeremy Reaves all earned first-team spots. Wide receiver Josh Magee and punter Brandon McKee picked up second-team honors.
Everett, a senior, leads the Jaguars in receptions (49), receiving yards (717) and is tied for the team-lead in touchdown receptions (4). He was also a first-team pick in 2015.
Allen, a senior, set a school record with 11.5 sacks this season, his first as a starter. He is tied for second in the Sun Belt in sacks and is tied for first in the conference in tackles for loss (18.
