MOBILE, Ala. –The University of South Alabama men's tennis team broke a 2-2 tie with wins on courts three and four to defeat its rival Troy Friday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
After dropping the doubles point, the Jaguars fought back in singles play as they won five of the six singles matches against the Trojans. Julien Evrard got the Jags on the board after defeating Pelayo Antuna (6-3,6-1) in straight sets on court two. Troy took back the lead after winning on court six, but South kept the momentum going through courts three and five for a 3-1 advantage.
