NEW ORLEANS, La. | Television information and kickoff times for the first three weeks of the season and select nationally televised games this fall were released by the Sun Belt Conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
South Alabama (10-3, 7-1 Sun Belt last season) opens the 2023 season on the road on September 2 against Cotton Bowl champion Tulane (12-2, 7-1 AAC) on ESPNU at 7 pm. The two teams have met twice since 2013, splitting the two meetings with Tulane winning 27-24 in the last meeting in 2020.
The Jags open the home portion of its schedule against Southeastern Louisiana (9-4, 5-1 Southland) on September 9 in the first meeting between the two schools.
