Senior Bowl weekend is traditionally a big recruiting time for South Alabama football, and this year is no different.
The Jaguars will welcome around a half-dozen recruits to campus this weekend, with Mardi Gras and the Senior Bowl in the backdrop. With 10 signees and three commitments already on board, USA has roughly five scholarships to give for the 2018 class.
Among those expected to visit campus this weekend are Shades Valley quarterback Desmond Trotter, Aldine (Texas) offensive guard Josh McCullough and a trio of running backs: Carlos Davis of Muscle Shoals, Aundre Carter of Green Cove Springs, Florida, and Jarveon Howard of Columbia, Mississippi.
