SOUTH ALABAMA FOOTBALL FALLS TO BLAZERS THURSDAY NIGHT

MOBILE, Ala. – Spencer Brown ran for three touchdowns and Bryson Lucero threw for two more to help lead UAB to a 42-10 non-conference football victory over the University of South Alabama Thursday at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

Brown recorded 105 yards on 20 carries while Lucero completed 18-of-28 attempts for 319 yards to lead the Blazers (2-1) to 509 yards of total offense in the contest. Austin Watkins Jr. caught seven passes for 183 yards and a score as well for UAB.

Carlos Davis rushed 17 times for 105 yards and Chance Lovertich threw for 168 yards and a touchdown in his first start for the Jaguars (1-2).
