For the second straight year, a newcomer at wide receiver has been the talk of fall camp at South Alabama.
The name on everyone's lips this fall is Jamarius Way, a transfer from Ellsworth (Iowa) Community College. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior is making big plays on a daily basis at practice, and led all Jaguars receivers with four catches for 71 yards and a touchdown in the first fall scrimmage last Saturday.
"It's been the time of my life," Way said Monday. "I feel welcome here, like a true family bond that I've built with a lot of my teammates on both offense and defense, older guys and younger guys.
