South Alabama will have a number of different experiences in its game Saturday at Idaho.
First, the Jaguars will travel across the country, nearly 2,500 miles to Moscow, Idaho. Second, they'll be playing indoors, in Idaho's Kibbie Dome.
But more than any of those factors, the Jaguars (5-5, 1-5 Sun Belt Conference) face a different kind of opponent in the Vandals (6-4, 4-2). In a conference loaded with spread and even option attacks, Idaho runs as close to a pro-style offense as you're likely to see in the Sun Belt.
"Idaho is a good team," South Alabama coach Joey Jones said.
