South Alabama got 19 points from Ken Williams and scored 48 second-half points to defeat Youngstown State 84-75 Saturday afternoon in the Red Diamond Roundball Classic at the Mitchell Center.
Williams scored 16 of his 19 points after halftime and had seven assists against just one turnover as the Jaguars (4-0) remained unbeaten. South Alabama has won its first four games of the season for the first time since 1990-91.
Nick Stover came off the bench to score 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting. Don MuepoKelly recorded his second double-double of the year with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
