California basketball transfer Don Coleman has signed with South Alabama, less than a week after verbally committing to the Jaguars.
Coleman, a 6-foot-3 guard, will sit out the 2018-19 season under NCAA transfer rules. He will have one season of eligibility beginning with the 2019-20 season.
"Don is an impactful addition to our program both on and off the court," USA coach Richie Riley said. "He is a proven contributor from the Pac-12 where he was California's leading scorer. Don is wired to score and plays at a great pace. With his relentless work ethic, he will take advantage of the sit-out year to take his game to another level.
